Simon Russell Flint KC is a well-known and highly regarded criminal law advocate, specialising in cases of serious fraud, pension disinvestment, money laundering, revenue evasion and general complex crime.

He combines extensive criminal experience in all disciplines, and is regarded as a leading practitioner in fraud litigation and financial crime.

Simon has appeared in numerous serious fraud trials during his career, including some of the leading cases of recent years.

Simon has advised and represented numerous professionals and high net worth individuals including doctors, solicitors – the subject of both criminal proceedings and before the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority – bankers, church ministers, prominent businessmen and women, financial institutions. In addition, he also advises upon the conduct of private prosecutions.

He specialises in cases that require expert advocacy skills. He is also regularly instructed to advise professional clients with early pre-charge engagement, reputational management and on strategy and case management to achieve best outcomes and where possible to avoid formal prosecution altogether.

In addition to specialising in advising those facing investigation into fraud and financial crimes, he also advises and represents those accused of serious criminal offences, including cases involving serious violence, particularly murder and other homicides.
